Last night, I attended a meetup of the local freelancer’s group at Jerome Bettis’s Grille 36 on the North Shore.

If you don’t know what a meetup is, it is just a gathering of like-minded people in your area. You get to talk, eat, drink, and shmooze with some really great and interesting people (at least from my experience). The networking is fantastic and the folks are quite knowledgeable and willing to share. It is kind of a mini-conference, but free. Plus, there is a meetup for pretty much anything you can imagine - so, why not got to one?

But, the meetup was secondary to my visit to the much celebrated room of commodes at Grille 36. It has been called one of the top 10 bathrooms in America. Who would possibly take the time out of their life to write that top 10? I have no clue. What could make this lavatory so luxurious? Well, you don’t have to miss a second of the game even when you have to use the loo - the two-way glass behind the urinals (men’s room only - sorry ladies) looks out upon the spacious bars and it’s crisp high-definition flat screens. Can’t wait to install this in my very own house.
